Terms of use

1. Provider and scope

vakitpost is operated by CARadag, [PLATZHALTER: owner], Elias-Holl-Str. 6, 86836 Obermeitingen, Germany ("operator"). These terms apply to the use of vakitpost by mosque communities and associations ("association") and the persons using an account on their behalf.

2. Service

vakitpost generates images with prayer times and other occasions from templates and publishes them on the association's Instagram account at the times the association sets. The association can require that every post is approved beforehand.

Use is free of charge. There is no entitlement to use; accounts are issued by invitation only.

3. No availability commitment

The operator strives for reliable operation but does not commit to any particular availability. Posts may be delayed or fail, for example due to outages at Instagram, the hosting provider or the prayer-time sources. vakitpost never publishes a daily post after the start of the dawn prayer; if it fails for that reason, it is not made up.

4. Prayer times

Prayer times come from public sources and are cross-checked automatically. The operator gives no guarantee for their accuracy. The association reviews the content, in particular in "approval" mode, and can enter the times of the Eid prayer itself.

5. Obligations of the association

• It connects only Instagram accounts it is entitled to use and complies with Instagram's rules.
• It is responsible for logos, images and texts it uploads or publishes and ensures that no third-party rights are infringed (in particular copyright and image rights).
• It keeps its login credentials secret and informs the operator if misuse is suspected.
• It does not use vakitpost for unlawful, offensive or third-party advertising content.

6. Data protection

For the association's content the operator is a processor; the DPA accepted by the association at first login applies. Otherwise the privacy policy applies.

7. Suspension and termination

The association can stop using the service at any time by deleting its account in the settings. The operator may suspend an account for breaches of these terms and discontinue the service with [PLATZHALTER: e.g. 4 weeks] notice; for good cause also immediately.

8. Liability

9. Changes

The operator may change these terms. New versions are presented for acceptance at the next login; without acceptance, further use is not possible.

10. Final provisions
